My Story

For as long as I can remember I've craved time to create. When I was small I would finger paint and glue collages together. As I grew I remember writing short stories about white horses and adventurous little girls. By the time I was a tween I was asking for a sewing machine and power tools for my birthday- in order to complete my creative endeavors. There has never been a pause button for me. Whatever the medium, I have always found beauty and worth in creating.

One of my deep creative passions is finding beauty and worth in photography- taking a captured moment in time and helping it shine forever. I love a modern and clean image that allows the soul of my subject to reach out and pull me in. I also love a little sun flare, because who doesn't?! 

I began Christine Deaton Creative so that I can take my passion for photography and share it with others. Whether that is in the form of capturing special moments for clients, or in helping make a photographer's work more streamlined, efficient, and fruitful by editing their images.  My goal for my clients is to freeze a moment in time that will bring joy to your heart each time you pass it in your home. My goal for my photographers is to edit their sessions, so that they can focus on more clients, more success, and more time with family and friends!
